Riga Technical University (RTU) joined the study group for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/u7061146.ct.sendgrid.net\/ls\/click?upn=4tNED-2FM8iDZJQyQ53jATUc8vWM9VEzHYccUazZJT7XuJa-2FzSdJ-2FZpJmgvr8unINgLMfLw8t3FkiyT6-2F0IVEVCECNDlmbZg8EcSQw0LBuTo8-3DSW0U_atJWz-2F57UhGGlDNlsqnR2CS5p8HPplAuHRkThiVrBX405lh-2Ff7bClnJXaP1gR2z3obRHiJQTkrsSWEF2-2FKEYi8t-2FnzJLGJ2R67NprETPKOkRoZALxiELQryA8ZeIpFsvNLz7NsglLqfSC-2BTNdv1XgiIbvYjLzk-2FWMO7s6rWVR25U78BhcOpEY0qSkwvlZr9Zd9in-2BXHr-2BoX8RYAh6-2F2pGD97AdIETJTCU9srWHnqhOeYIKJEi57PM7NxCodI-2BYaLiMJLe88wtz7smhmd0ib-2BvWaGqupYPBHV-2BZMg9qQaobzJb5u93H1o5sMMWE7VKUPI9HSfVfro-2B95aHFduz0rg9l3t03UQgR3xkORs4k5BuW8-3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Future Circular Collider<\/a>\u00a0in 2015 and a consortium of the University of Latvia and RTU then joined the CMS collaboration in 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This framework also provided opportunities for Latvian researchers to participate in CERN\u2019s activities through PhD theses and project associateships.As an Associate Member State, Latvia will be entitled to appoint representatives to attend meetings of the CERN Council and Finance Committee.
