Kathmandu, August 26\u2014 <\/em><\/strong>Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO) handed over astronomical equipment to Dr. Pushpraj Acharya, coordinator of NASO Karnali, on the occasion of its foundation day on 25th August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The handover marks a significant step toward expanding astronomy education and outreach in Nepal\u2019s Karnali Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to NASO, the equipment will enhance the effectiveness of stargazing programs, astronomy education in schools, teacher training, and public science engagement activities in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NASO President Suresh Bhattarai emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that it will help broaden access to space science and astronomy in Karnali. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince its inception, NASO has been committed to sparking curiosity about space science, expanding scientific knowledge, inspiring students, and promoting scientific thinking among the general public,\u201d Bhattarai said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
