Funding opportunities include Phase I, Phase II, Fast-Track, Supplements, and Strategic Breakthroughs.

Entrepreneurs must first submit a project pitch to NSF before being invited to file a Phase I proposal. Between fiscal 2016 and 2025, NSF invested more than $2 billion in over 1,600 startups, which later raised nearly $36 billion in private capital, including about 380 exits, according to Pitchbook.

WASHINGTON, May 29 – The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) said on Tuesday it is deploying $250 million to restart its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, including a new $40 million pilot focused on next-generation scientific instrumentation.

[3

post-38203","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-scaled.webp",2560,1367,false
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-200x200.webp",200,200,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-675x361.webp",675,361,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-768x410.webp",750,400,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-1100x588.webp",750,401,true],"1536x1536":["https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-1536x820.webp",1536,820,true],"2048x2048":["https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-2048x1094.webp",2048,1094,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-1200x800.webp",1200,800,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-870x570.webp",870,570,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-600x900.webp",600,900,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-600x600.webp",600,600,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-760x490.webp",760,490,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-550x360.webp",550,360,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-95x65.webp",95,65,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-640x853.webp",640,853,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-96x96.webp",96,96,true
https://www.revoscience.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-13-150x80.webp",150,80,true
RevoScience
["GET
