North Korea \u2014 which has allegedly starved millions of its people and is unable to treat even modest medical problems such as cataracts \u2014 has a new drug on the market that it says can cure AIDS, Ebola and some cancers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proclamation, made today by the state-run Korean Central News Agency, said the Kumdang-2 Injection is \u201cefficacious for different epidemics,\u201d\u00a0according to the news release<\/span><\/a>, which is tucked amid threats against imperialist countries like Japan and the U.S.<\/span><\/p>\n

The formula is proprietary, according to the doctor and developer of the miracle cure, Jon Sung Hun. But he gave some hints to the government media.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe researchers insert rare earth elements (REE) into insam (ginseng) by applying the micro-elementary fertilizers of REE to the fields of insam,\u201d Jon said. \u201cInside the herbal body of insam the REE had got combined with the saccharides into desired complex compounds. The injection is made of extracts from those complex compounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs a strong immuno-activator, the injection has been recognized to prevent different malignant epidemics,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

The drug\u2019s site said the injection\u00a0completely cured 56 percent of AIDS sufferers<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 with the remaining 44 percent achieving a \u201cconsiderable\u201d cure. All it takes, they say, is to administer five to eight ampoules every four to six hours, for two to three days.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone has the right to be healthy!\u201d says the site.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Korean legends have touted many accomplishments during the totalitarian regime in power since World War II. One such legend was that Kim Jong Il shot 11 holes-in-one during an 18-hole round on North Korea\u2019s only golf course \u2013\u00a0an accomplishment verified by every one of his 17 bodyguards<\/span><\/a>. Legend has also held that Jong Il and his son, current dictator Kim Jong Un, do not have typical bodily functions like other human beings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The DPRK has systematically murdered millions of people in the country, through artificial starvation, a gulag-system of punishment camps and political purges and executions,\u00a0according to human rights groups<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
