World’s Largest Space Conference to Meet\u00a0<\/span>October 12-16<\/span><\/span>

\"images\"<\/a>The 66th annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2015 will take place in Jerusalem on\u00a0<\/span>October 12-16th<\/span><\/span>. The Israel Space Agency will host the IAC, which serves as the premier international event where members of the space industry, agencies, and academia convene under one roof for a week of intense meetings and deliberations.<\/span>

“Israel has made significant contributions to the space capabilities over the past few decades and we are honored to host IAC 2015 in Jerusalem,” said Minister of Science, Technology and Space Danny Danon.\u00a0 “This annual event serves as a backdrop for the global space sector allowing governmental, academia and private industry leaders to envision, implement and complete collaborative projects for the betterment of science and humanity”.<\/span>

The IAC takes place in a different country every year, allowing participants to learn more about the local industry in the host country, and providing all parties the chance to increase their participation in the world space scene.<\/span>

About 40 heads of space agencies and astronauts will be amongst the distinguished participants at IAC 2015.\u00a0 The conference will include over 2,000 professional lectures and poster presentations and a variety of plenary and panel sessions highlight lectures that are aimed at both the professional community and the general public.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
