This year, ILCA\u00a0celebrates,\u00a0promoting novel pathogenic, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for liver cancer\u00a0at\u00a0Conference.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Brussels<\/span>, Belgium\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 T<\/span>he International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA) announces\u00a0its\u00a010th\u00a0ILCA Annual Conference, which will\u00a0take\u00a0place on\u00a09-11 September\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in Vancouver, Canada.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is my hope that we continue to grow as an organisation and see more primary data presented at the Annual Meeting. ILCA should become the place to present results. It will happen as we continue to get an even greater turn out at the meeting from all disciplines; from basic scientists to clinical trialists. This year\u2019s meeting is very special as it marks the 10th\u00a0Anniversary of ILCA.\u00a0For the past 10 years, ILCA has been significantly contributing to advancing liver cancer science, consistently focusing on its mission to promote novel pathogenic, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for liver cancer by taking a transversal approach to research and bringing together scientists, physicians and allied professionals from all interrelated fields.<\/p>\n

Since its creation, ILCA has brought together the most eminent liver cancer experts from all around the globe around this common scientific purpose, with the ultimate goal\u00a0to\u00a0improve\u00a0prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care of patients. The disease is heavily impacting public health globally, and ILCA is now established as one of the most significant contributors to liver cancer science.<\/p>\n

This year again ILCA\u00a0has prepared\u00a0a programme\u00a0featuring\u00a0multidisciplinary and transversal\u00a0insights, with the\u00a0objective to encourage and stimulate scientific debate and networking between liver cancer experts from\u00a0all regions.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s ILCA Annual Meeting will attract as many as 600\u00a0hepatologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists, basic researchers, pathologists, surgeons\u00a0and allied professionals across liver cancer related disciplines to exchange\u00a0on\u00a0their findings, experiences and best practices.<\/p>\n

290\u00a0abstracts were accepted to the\u00a0ILCA\u00a0Annual Meeting, the vast majority of which will be publicly\u00a0made available at\u00a0ilca2016.org<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in August 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
