Kathmandu — On the occasion of International Tourism Day, the National Forum of Photo Journalists Nepal (NFPJ) has organized a photo exhibition at Hanuman Dhoka in Kathmandu.
The exhibition, launched as part of the “Made in Kathmandu Fest 2082,” was jointly coordinated by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Nepal Art Council, and Nepal Tourism Board. Although it began earlier, it was temporarily halted due to the Gen Z movement.
On Thursday, the exhibition was officially inaugurated at Hanuman Dhoka by former Kumari Manita Shakya, NFPJ President Pradeepraj Onta, and former representations of Ganesh and Bhairav.
The exhibition features 100 photographs taken by members of the National Forum of Photo Journalists. Alongside these, various activities related to Indra Jatra are presented in an engaging manner.
From the energy of the Lakhe dance to the melodies echoing through narrow alleys and the vibrant crowds at Dabali — key moments of Indra Jatra have been captured and displayed through compelling images.
The exhibition will run for three days and is open to the public daily from 11 AM to 5 PM.
