National Film Award Ceremony Concluded, Dirgha Sadhana Honor to Kharel

Kathmandu— Nepalese senior film director Yadav Kharel has been awarded Dirgha Sadhana Honor 2070 on National Film Award(NFA) on Monday. President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav honored Kharel with a prize of 351,111 rupees following by a medal and certificate.

Minister of Information and Communications Dr. Mirendra Rijal, Chairman of the Film Development Board Dharmendra Morbaita, politicians, senior journalists, filmmakers, and others were present. Board Chairman Morbaita congratulates the organizer on successful of the award ceremony, which was stopped for the past four years.

NFA had been organized annually by Film Development Board. However, it was awaited four years due to political and technical reasons board official says.
