Diktel, Khotang — SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. brought its premium automobile brands — Omoda, Jaecoo, and iCar — to the “Scientific Exploration and Science-Math Exhibition – 2026,” marking their active participation in the event.
Organized by Himalaya Secondary School, Solma Diktel, in collaboration with Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality and Shubham Foundation, the exhibition ran from Baisakh 3 to 7.
The brands highlighted their commitment to innovation and sustainability, aiming to connect students, youth, and science enthusiasts with modern technology. A major focus was on electric vehicle (EV) technology, promoting awareness of clean, smart, and sustainable transportation. Visitors had the chance to experience EV technology firsthand and learn about the future of mobility.
Senior Sales Manager of SPG Automobiles Biratnagar branch, Dhirendra Pradhan, noted that the advanced iCar display in Diktel attracted significant attention from both locals and automobile enthusiasts from Kathmandu. He emphasized that the sporty iCar, priced at NPR 5.099 million, is well-suited for off-road driving.
To build long-term customer trust, the brands introduced an extended warranty of up to 11 years — covering batteries for 11 years or 240,000 km (whichever comes first) and motors for 11 years or 200,000 km. This initiative is expected to set a new benchmark in Nepal’s EV market.
Currently, with 18+ sales outlets and 15 service centers nationwide, Omoda, Jaecoo, and iCar are rapidly expanding their presence in Nepal through a growing sales and charging infrastructure network.
