KATHMANDU, Dec 10 – SparrowSMS, a flagship product of Nepal’s Janaki Technology Pvt. Ltd., has been officially recognized as a Meta Tech Provider and launched a WhatsApp Business Messaging platform in the country, the company said on Wednesday.

SparrowSMS, widely known as a bulk SMS service provider in Nepal, said the new platform will allow businesses to connect with customers more quickly and securely. The service includes embedded sign-up with Meta, simplifying onboarding for WhatsApp’s API and making it fully localized for Nepal.

The platform offers features such as blue tick verification, bulk WhatsApp broadcasts, campaign analytics and retargeting, multi-agent live chat, and a no-code chat flow builder. SparrowSMS said these tools are designed to improve customer engagement and retention.

“Our direct Meta API-powered WhatsApp service makes customer communication more effective, reliable, and accessible for every business from retail shops to large enterprises,” CEO Manoj Thapa said in a statement.

SparrowSMS has been operating for more than a decade, serving government agencies, financial institutions, educational organizations, and private enterprises nationwide. The company said it aims to strengthen Nepal’s digital communication ecosystem through innovation and customer-focused services.
