Kathmandu, Jan 19 – Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi on Monday launched the Redmi Note 15 series in Nepal. The series includes four models equipped with advanced battery technology, high‑resolution cameras, and reinforced build quality.

Simon Fang of Xiaomi Global China said the company aims to further strengthen its presence in the South Asian market. “Xiaomi mobile has succeeded in capturing a one‑third share of the global market,” he said.

The lineup consists of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 15 5G, and Redmi Note 15 4G. According to Fang, prices in the Nepali market will range from NPR 29,999 to NPR 66,999 depending on variants and specifications. He added, “In Nepal, Xiaomi has become the number one choice among customers. That is why Nepal is special for Xiaomi.”

The top‑end Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G features a 6,500mAh silicon–carbon battery, 100W fast charging, a 200‑megapixel primary camera, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Xiaomi said the battery retains 80% capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles, equivalent to about six years of normal use.

Other models carry different specifications:

  • The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor and supports 45W charging.
  • The Redmi Note 15 5G, the thinnest in the series at 7.35mm, comes with a 5,520mAh battery and a 108MP camera.
  • The Redmi Note 15 4G runs on MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultra chipset, with a 6,000mAh battery and a 108MP telephoto camera.

All models feature AMOLED displays with up to 3,200 nits brightness, IP‑rated water and dust resistance, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, and AI‑based photo and video editing tools. Xiaomi has integrated Google Gemini and its own HyperOS across the series.

The company announced special promotional offers from January 19 to February 14, 2026. During this period, all models will be bundled with discounts on Xiaomi Buds and will be available with nine months of zero‑percent EMI financing.
